2017 Mazda CX-5

There is no mistake with the new 2017 Mazda CX-5. In my humble opinion, it will be one of the best-looking compact crossovers on the streets of our cities. What can we expect from the new 2017 model, you may ask. The answer is excellent driveability, along with the improved and enriched interior. We can also expect the premium cabin, quieter ride and sleek exterior design. As for the rivals, the list includes Nissan Rogue, Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4 and the Jeep Cherokee.

2017 Mazda CX-5 Redesign

Exterior

The new 2017 Mazda CX-5 looks very modern and attractive with mighty exterior details. At front, we can notice a vertical front grille, the headlights and taillights are redesigned and 17-inch alloy wheels are standard. I must mention its sharp LED accents. The upgrades include two new paint colors. The first one is Machine Gray Metallic color, and the second one is the Soul Red Metallic. The buyers can choose between three trim levels, the base model is Sport and the second is Touring. The third available automobile is the Grand Touring model.

Interior

Inside, the new 2017 Mazda CX-5 will have neat and quiet cabin that is conceived to secure pleasant driving atmosphere up to five passengers. This cabin provides enough head and legroom, especially I need to mention the front seats, that are very comfortable. As for the rest of interior equipment, it sports Bluetooth connectivity, two USB chargers, push-button ignition and door locks. Furthermore, we can find power windows, new door seals and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Mazda Connect software. More expensive models are equipped with the heated front seats, a six-speaker audio system, navigation, a BOSE® 10-speaker audio system and much more. The security is provided with an automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist and all kinds of airbags.

2017 Mazda CX-5 Engine

Beneath the bonnet, the new 2017 Mazda CX-5 will be powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with the total output of 187 horses and 185 lb-ft of torque, and it will be paired with the six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard with the 2017 model, however, all-wheel drive is also available.

2017 Mazda CX-5 Release Date and Price

The new 2017 Mazda CX-5 will hit the market at the end of March of this year (2017) and the car will cost between $24,045 and $31,635.
