2017 Ford Escape

The new Ford Escape is coming. The 2016 model was very popular on my website. Every a little bit more knowledgeable car fan knows that the Escape crossover was and still is one of the most popular SUVs on the market. It was for many years on top of the sales. The main rivals are Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V and Subaru Forester. The new 2017 Ford Escape can be the most successful model of the brand. The Escape model was the best-selling Ford is Europe. I cannot expect less from the 2017 model.

2017 Ford Escape Redesign

Exterior and Interior

The exterior of the new 2017 Ford Escape has that aggressive look with the new hexagonal grille. This model will have all-LED units. I can say that the redesign is a success. You can see that fascia, fenders, headlamps and aluminum hood have been redone. The SUV will have a windshield seal and acoustic glass in the doors. There will be three trim levels. S, SE, and Titanium. Also, you will be able to choose from three exterior colors. Ridge, White Gold, and Lightning Blue. Inside is all about the technology. The USB port is twice as fast. The instrument panel has fine leather tops. The driver will be able to use a Ford Pass app enabled by a 4G modem inside to start the vehicle and lock and unlock the doors. Other infotainment additions are Apple Car Play and Android Auto.

2017 Ford Escape Engine

The new 2017 Ford Escape is going to have two engine options. The first one is 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine for SE and Titanium trim levels. It produces 180 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque. The second option is a 2.0-liter EcoBoost with 245 horsepower and an 275 lb-ft. The SUV will have a six-speed automatic. And there is speculation that for S trim there will be a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine.
